It’s that time of year again. The holidays are right around the corner and our wish lists are already starting. But, in our “new normal” of social distance and small business collapse, the joy of finding the perfect gift in-person isn’t likely this year.

For most of us, this means resorting to scrolling the pages of Fast Fashion sites or forgetting about presents altogether. But instead of settling for a last- minute Amazon find, why not purchase unique handcrafted gifts while making a difference with your dollar?

This holiday season, Heal the Brain with Jane is hosting a virtual Holiday Market Fundraiser with exclusively fair trade and ethically sourced products from local vendors.

All proceeds will support the goals of our non profit and our mission to further serve the brain-injured population. Our community at Heal the Brain with Jane spans across the seven continents – with members from Canada all the way to Nigeria – and we are looking to expand our reach even further.

Our non-profit relies on the funding of our members and our generous donors. However, in order to reach our goals of expansion and spreading brain-injury awareness, we need more help.

As our community expands, so do our costs. This fundraiser will help maintain our workshops and collaborative efforts. The proceeds we receive from the Holiday Market will fund all of the moving parts which keep our non profit alive – administrative costs, zoom license, web design costs, etc. With that said, our global efforts cannot be met unless we start locally.

At Heal the Brain with Jane, we prioritize community. Now, more than ever, our local communities are in need of great support and uplift. The local artisans and purveyors in our communities have suffered significant detriments during these times and shopping locally has never been more important.

We want to make this holiday season a season of hope and relief for our local crafts people and their families. That is why we are selling the products of fair trade and ethically sourced local venders.

The items included in the Holiday Market are made by local crafts people who follow sustainable and environmentally-friendly practices. They are all made from natural sources and ingredients – certainly making these products luxurious gifts for everyone on your list. Varying from hydrating face masks to throw blankets and handcrafted jewelry – you may even want to treat yourself to a gift!

Presale begins November 15th and will last through November 29th. All items are limited so be sure to buy before the sale closes!

Despite our “new normal” this year, you can still experience the pleasure of boutique shopping right from your home while supporting the efforts of our community!
